OKLIN Food Waste Composter Partners with 101 True Digital Park for “Forest Restoration, Carbon Reduction” Project – Donates Fertilizer from Food Waste to the Royal Forest Department

OKLIN, in collaboration with 101 True Digital Park, has launched the “Forest Restoration, Carbon Reduction” project by donating 3,000 kilograms of organic soil conditioner and fertilizer—produced from processing 17,647 kilograms of food waste—to the Royal Forest Department under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

The handover ceremony was attended by Ms. Nattakarn Klowutthianan, Managing Director of OKLIN Thailand, together with a representative from True Digital Park, who presented the fertilizer to Mr. Prasit Koetto, Deputy Director of the Royal Forest Department, at Phra Khanong District, Bangkok.

The project aims to provide nutrient-rich fertilizer derived from food waste using OKLIN’s innovative composting technology, which turns food scraps into high-quality organic fertilizer within 24 hours. The fertilizer will be used to nourish trees in forest areas, helping them absorb carbon dioxide—one mature tree can absorb up to 21.78 kilograms of CO₂ per year—and naturally filter pollutants through its leaves. Trees also help lower temperatures by releasing moisture and providing shade. Tree planting is one of the most cost-effective and efficient methods of removing significant amounts of CO₂ from the atmosphere.

In addition to the “Forest Restoration, Carbon Reduction” initiative, 101 True Digital Park also joined hands with OKLIN to support the “Fertilizer for Merit” project, donating organic fertilizer from food waste to Makut Kiriwan Temple for maintaining green spaces and cultivating chemical-free fruits and vegetables.

The OKLIN food waste composter, developed in Australia, uses a specialized strain of natural microorganisms to decompose food waste within 24 hours, reducing waste volume by 80–90%. The process is safe, eco-friendly, requires no microbial starter refills, and eliminates the need for filter replacements, thereby reducing hazardous waste.

OKLIN – Eco-Friendly Food Waste Composter
Turns food waste into dry fertilizer within 24 hours. It handles liquids without the need for separation, requires only a one-time microbial starter with no refills for its entire lifespan, and uses natural microbial decomposition that is safe for the environment. The process produces ready-to-use organic fertilizer and requires no filter changes, reducing hazardous waste. An Australian innovation, it is easy to use for both households and industrial applications.

Household model: 79,000 THB
