The 7th edition of Your Neighbor Clotheswap has come to a close!
This event aimed to break the cycle of fast fashion by encouraging participants to bring clean, good-condition clothes to swap with others—completely free.

This time, Oklin joined forces with Your Neighbor Ari to help manage waste at the event. Together, we successfully diverted 15 kg of food waste, which was processed through Oklin’s composter and transformed into high-quality organic fertilizer within 24 hours. Participants even got to take some of this fertilizer home to nourish their plants.

To make things even more creative, the event also featured a workshop where attendees designed their own fertilizer bags, turning them into personalized, eco-friendly art pieces.

We’re back for the 7th round of Your Neighbor Clotheswap!
This time, we’re not only tackling the fast fashion cycle by inviting everyone to bring up to 10 clean, good-condition clothes to swap for “new-to-you” pieces — all for FREE — but we’re also adding a sustainability twist!

For the first time, we’ll host an Open Roundtable where everyone can join in to share thoughts and discuss the global fast fashion problem. The stories, ideas, and insights we collect will help shape our next activities in the community.

This year, we’re extra excited because VI-Ari has joined as an official supporter of the event. Passionate about environmental and community issues, VI-Ari is teaming up with Oklin, a leading food waste composting solution provider. Together, they’re bringing a food waste composter right to the event!
