The PARQ together with OKLIN advances sustainable food waste management by donating 4,000 kg of plant nutrients to Chaipattana Foundation.
The PARQ, managed by TCC Assets (Thailand) Co., Ltd., together with OKLIN continues to promote sustainable food waste management through the use of a “food waste disposal machine,” a biotechnology solution that helps reduce food waste and transform it into plant nutrients for returning benefits back to society. Recently, 4,000 kilograms of plant nutrients produced from food waste were donated to Chaipattana Foundation to support agricultural activities and sustainable green space development.
The handover ceremony was led by Mr. Kamonnai Chaichanien, Executive Director of TCC Assets (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Executive of The PARQ project, together with Ms. Nutthakarn Klovuthi-anun, Managing Director of Oklin (Thailand) Co., Ltd., who jointly presented the plant nutrients to Mr. Lalit Thanomsingh, Deputy Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation, as the official recipient.
The plant nutrients were produced by processing food waste generated within the project through Oklin’s food waste disposal machine, an advanced food waste management technology that utilizes microorganisms and biological decomposition. The system can reduce food waste volume within 24 hours while helping minimize odors, wastewater, and the amount of waste sent to landfill. In addition, it helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions caused by organic waste decomposition in landfill sites.
The Chaipattana Foundation will utilize the donated plant nutrients to support agricultural projects, soil improvement, and green space development across its operational areas. The nutrients will help enrich soil quality, support plant cultivation, and promote environmentally friendly agricultural practices in line with sustainable development principles.
This collaboration reflects the concepts of Circular Economy and Zero Food Waste to Landfill by turning food waste into valuable resources instead of disposing of it in landfills. The PARQ continues to prioritize sustainable food waste management within the building to help reduce environmental impacts and serve as a model for modern waste management practices.
Meanwhile, Oklin Thailand, as a specialist in food waste disposal machines, remains committed to developing technologies that help organizations, office buildings, hotels, schools, and various institutions reduce food waste, lower waste management costs, and transform food waste into valuable resources that can be sustainably reused. 🌱
