On November 1st, we were truly excited and honored to join the Global Carnival at Singapore International School of Bangkok (SISB) – Pracha Uthit Campus!

As part of the event, we hosted an engaging workshop where students learned how to grow vegetables using organic fertilizer produced from the school’s own food waste composter. This hands-on session not only introduced students to sustainable gardening practices, but also demonstrated how to make the most of food waste generated within the school. The process helps reduce waste, while raising awareness of environmental conservation and the importance of caring for our planet.

The activity aimed to instill values of efficient and eco-friendly resource use. We demonstrated how the school’s food waste composter transforms food scraps into high-quality organic fertilizer that can be effectively used in vegetable cultivation.

We sincerely thank SISB – Pracha Uthit Campus for giving us the opportunity to be part of this wonderful event. By engaging directly with the process of waste reduction and environmental stewardship, students gain valuable knowledge, awareness, and inspiration to live more sustainably.
